(FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) -- For the fifth consecutive year, ABF Freight System, Inc., has received a Transportation Partnership Award from the PMI Food Equipment Group in Troy, Ohio. The partnership between PMI and ABF started in 1981.

PMI presented ABF with a replica of the Hobart warewasher as a symbol of its quality products and a symbol of quality service supplied by ABF. ABF's on-time transit service record for 1995 was 98%. In making the presentation, PMI's Director-Transportation Jack Reddy said that ABF has consistently provided the company with "unmatched quality and service" for many years.

The ABF attendees for these ceremonies included National Account Director Andrea Laughery, Regional Vice President-National Sales Frank Kane, Regional Vice President-Sales Roger Zidaroff, and General Office Transportation Department Representative Linda Scott. Also honored were former Cincinnati Branch Manager Tim Magoto, and former Albuquerque Branch Manager Larry Frazier.

PMI's product line consists of Hobart Mixers, warewashers, scales, and refrigerators as well as the Vulcan Hart commercial cooking equipment line.
