"Professional truck drivers take time to prepare themselves before every trip. They get the proper rest, come to work with a positive attitude and always have safety on their minds."

Arthur (Otto) Schmeckenbecher believes that a person has to like people to perform the job as a professional truck driver, because being courteous to others is a key factor, not just to other drivers, but to everyone.
"It seems that trucking has somehow gotten a bad reputation," stated the Little Rock road driver. "Being on America's Road Team will allow me a larger platform for telling people what professional truck drivers are really like."
Otto has 28 years of professional trucking experience. He has been a road driver for ABFs Little Rock service center for over 14 years. Otto was chosen as an alternate for 2003 America's Road Team.
Mr. Schmeckenbecher and his wife live in Little Rock where he serves his community as an Assistant Scoutmaster working with the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys working on home improvement projects, collecting model trains and restoring his 1969 Olds 442.
