ABF Proudly Recognizes 4000 Drivers Who Have Earned
Safe Driving Awards
ABF® recognizes drivers for long-term accident free driving. There are
four levels of awards for road drivers and four levels for city drivers. For road drivers,
the level of awards are one million miles accident free driving, two million miles accident free driving,
three million miles accident free driving and four million miles accident free driving.
For city drivers the four levels are bronze, silver, gold and platinum. The bronze level award represents
15,000 hours accident free driving. The silver level award represents 30,000 hours accident free driving.
The gold level award represents 45,000 hours accident free driving, and the platinum represents 60,000 hours of accident free driving.
Miles for road drivers and hours for city drivers are for ABF time only (including acquired
companies) and are calculated from the time the employee started driving or from their last
preventable accident. If a driver has a preventable accident, the miles or hours start
back at zero.
