For two years before the ABF Road Team was established, the company sent a driver to Washington, DC to compete for America's Road Team. Out of that experience, the idea was born for ABF to form its own road team to serve as ambassadors for the company and to better prepare drivers for the America's Road Team competition. Since 1991, the company has had fourteen drivers serve as America's Road Team Captains.
ABF Road Teamers are available to speak at schools, civic organizations, traffic and transportation organizations, or meetings of other groups. When called upon, they may speak on safety, the image of the truck driver and the industry, sharing the road with a truck, or any other subject in which they have a vital interest.
We are pleased to present to you the ABF 2008-2009 Road Team:

These twelve drivers form a team long on safe-driving years and strong in leadership abilities, concern for the image of the trucking industry and commitment to quality.
|
These drivers have met the highest standards of professionalism and represent the more than 7,000 ABF drivers throughout the country who care about safety and quality and practice it daily on our nation's highways and city streets. They have become ambassadors for ABF and the industry in promoting safety and increasing public awareness of, and appreciation for, the trucking industry and the truck driver.
