BILLING
On-line N.M.F.C. available to billing personnel in Q-NET, ABF's internal computer system.
Bill of lading information for regular shippers is stored in Q-NET under the "Bill of Lading Maintenance" (BOL) system.
Information entered in the "BOL" system is verified by ABF's Central Rate Department personnel for accuracy.
Use of "BOL" system improves accuracy and simplifies billing data entry.
RATING

Each freight bill moves through four steps at ABF's CRD:
(1) Customer and City Coding
(2) Commodity Identification
(3) Rate Application
(4) Auditing
