Additional shipping labels for VICS format allow extended information to be included in the label.
Creation of a Bill of Lading in a PDF file format, based on an existing BOL. The PDF file can be saved, which offers additional flexibility in the distribution options of the Bills of Lading.
New Express Import feature expedites the import process for users who import files on a regular basis. Import for a selected saved layout can now be executed immediately via the shortcut tool provided on the main screen.

Q-Manager Version 1.3.0 Added Features
Introducing new support for the VICS (Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Standard) Bill of Lading. The VICS standard provides a uniform format and consistent rules with regard to page layout, Bill of Lading/Pro number, required information and barcode use in a Bill of Lading. Currently the VICS format can be used in conjunction with laser and dot matrix printers. Support for pre-printed forms is not available at this time.
Enhanced conversion includes of the transformation of Bill of Lading records from DOS to Windows Q-Manager. All corresponding data in the DOS records will be formatted to fit the Windows Q-Manager format.
Piece label PO number barcode can now be printed using both the Code39 and Code128 barcode formats. (Code128 barcode is limited to VICS Bill of Lading only).
Q-Manager Version 1.2.0 Added Features
Electronic Bill of Lading (EBL) feature allows automatic transmission of Bill of Lading directly into ABF Freight System via Internet. EBL allows shipment information to be sent promptly and eliminates the requirement for the user to create a bill of lading per each shipment. An EBL label will be printed on all Bill of Lading created by Q-Manager as well as corresponding Trailer Manifest.
Allows additional information pertaining a Government shipment via Electronic Bill of Lading (EBL).
Enhanced file import that allows an automated import process via layout file. User can save an import process into layout file for future use. Loading layout file will allow an import process to be duplicated with minimal user interaction.
Import features now support importing bill of lading record (and all related additional information) into Q-Manager.
Zipcode validation now accept and validate the 5+4 zipcode format and will not return a validation error message.
Q-Manager Version 1.1.1 Added Features
Added a Pickup Request button to the BOL Record List View screen and expanded the functionality of the Pickup Request Option under the Web Links Menu. This will pass in the required information to the Pickup Request page on the ABF web site.
As an alternative to rating bills using the Q-Rate or SMC rating programs, an overall flat rate and quote id for a shipment can now be entered.
An option is now available on the Report tab of the Options screen to show commodity totals on the Outbound Shipments report.
Added Default Handling container type as a global default which can be Set up on the Settings tab of the Options screen.
Added a new label size (4x4), which can be used with thermal printers.

Q-Manager Version 1.1.0 Added Features
The dropdowns for the City/State/Zip/Country fields have been moved onto an Address Lookup screen. This screen can be accessed either by checking the Address Lookup box on the Settings tab of the Options screen and then TABBING into a blank City field, or by pressing PF9 on any city/state/zip/country field.
Validation for City/State/Zip/Country fields is now optional and can be activated by checking the Validate City/State/Zip/Country check box on the Settings tab of the Options Screen. If validation is turned on, the validation will only take place at the point when the bill is saved.
The BOL Entry tab on the Options Screen was renamed to Settings. The Label Print tab was split into two tabs - Piece Label and Pallet Label - to reflect additional print choices.
A "Trace" button was added to the Record List View screen to pass one or more pros that have been selected to the ABF web site to provide current shipment status for those bills. Using the pro trace menu option on the Q-Manager screen now passes in the pro number of the bill currently on the screen.
PF1 Help for every field.
Expanded the screen for entering the COD fee prepaid/collect to hold remit to information for a COD shipment. That information will now print on all bill of lading forms.
Multiple P.O. numbers are printed together in the body of the bill of lading with a "see below" notation on the main P.O. line.
Added same day/same consignee bill consolidation that prompts to consolidate bills if a new bill is created for a shipment to a consignee and there is another open bill created that same day for the consignee.
Added a checkbox on the Carrier tab of the User Table Maintenance screen to specify whether or not the pro number should be prompted for when saving the bill.
Added an additional field to the Piece Label Tab of the Options Screen that gives the capability of specifying the number of copies per label that should print.

All references to entering the cube for a commodity have been eliminated EXCEPT for the Total Shipment Cube Override prompt that appears when right clicking the mouse anywhere in the commodity entry grid.
Check digit calculations added for Reddaway and Estes as well as the addition of a modified Roadway checkdigit.
All P.O. numbers now print on the Bill of Lading Summary Report.
