Common Questions
Why would I use MultiShipment Tender rather than regular eCenter online tools?
If you have multiple pickup requests or bills of lading to process at the same time, using MultiShipment Tender will save you time from manually entering each request online by saving the information into a data file and letting us do all the processing for each request for you.

Is there a specific format for the data in my file to be in?
Yes. There is a specific format we expect the data in your file to be in for us to process your multi-shipment tender. There are examples of the different types of files for you to download that show this format. Simply save these examples to your computer and modify with your own shipment information to guarantee your file is in the correct format.

What variables are available for me to use in my data file?
For each type of multi-shipment tender, we give you a detailed description of each type of row you can include in your file.  We also describe each variable you can supply for each type of row and which variables are required for us to process your request.

How will I know when my request has been processed?
When your multi-shipment tender has finished processing, we will send you an e-mail to the address provided letting you know your requests have been processed and are available to view online. If there was a problem with the upload or if there was invalid data in your file, we will send you an e-mail letting you know the errors that were found so you can correct any errors in the data and resubmit your upload request.

Is there a way I can FTP my multi-shipment tender file to your servers rather than uploading my file?
Yes. You can request FTP access by filling out the online FTP registration form. Once your request has been processed, you will receive an e-mail with FTP userID and password information you can use to FTP your multi-shipment tender file to our servers.

Can I upload or FTP any type of file?
No. The only types of files we will process are an Excel spreadsheet (XLS), ASCII comma-delimited file (CSV) or XML file.

If I FTP my file to your server, will anyone else have access to my file's information?
No. FTP access gives you the ability to FTP your own files to our server. You will not have access to or be able to get to any other files.
