ABF's MultiShipment Tender tool is used to submit multiple pickup requests by saving the information to a file and uploading the files or sending them via FTP. You can save time by creating multiple pickup requests at one time by filling the information out and saving the information to a data file.
Submitting Multiple Pickup Requests
The file that you want to upload must match an example that we have provided. Select from the following (1):
Click any of the links to use it as a template. Save the file on your computer then fill in your information (2). Next, upload the file by clicking Upload the File of Pickup Requests or Pickup Requests to upload the pickups (3). Select the type of file you want to upload (4). Enter the name of the file or click Browse (5) to find the file on your computer. Enter your e-mail address (6) so you can receive notifications about the pickup request information. Click Upload (7).

After uploading the file, you will receive a pickup request confirmation stating the pickup requests are being processed. You will then receive another email with the confirmation numbers.

FTP
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) allows you to process many pickup requests at one time. You must register to use this feature. After registering, you will receive an e-mail with the host name, userid, password, and naming convention for the file (1).

Type ftp://multishipmenttender.abfs.com in the address line of your window (2). You will be prompted to log in. Type your userid and password (3). Upload your files by dragging your files from your computer and dropping them onto this site. Your files will now be on the FTP site. This is a secure site and since you have a userid and password, no one else can access it.
